Schoology is a complete learning management system (LMS) that allows teachers, staff, students, and parents to have a central location for communication and interaction. We'll look at the major features and benefits of Schoology and how it can help you in the classroom.

Go to www.schoology.com and click on the "Sign Up" button on the top of the page (or go to www.schoology.com/register).

    1. Click on the Instructor button.
    2. Fill out your First Name, Last Name, Email Address or Username, Password and Confirm Password.
    3. Type your school name or school zip code into the School or Zipcode field, then click the search icon. Select Crosby-Ironton Secondary. Enter the registration code for our school (I have it).

Important notice: Please make sure you search for your school before creating a new school. Creating a duplicate school may cause confusion for students signing in with a username, as well as limit networking capability between faculty.

Getting Help

Schoology Help - When you're ready to dive into Schoology, they offer a nice guide to help you along the way.

Allison Clasen from CRES has written a great guide for teachers which I've attached to this post. I've also attached a Schoology Manual created for the Minnetonka School District.

It's likely we'll need more training in the future, but until that time feel free to ask me any questions.
